Mural Program Stony Plain's rich heritage is preserved through its extensive mural program. Take a tour of the magnificent artwork.
The Library's collection of more than 55,000 items, coupled with its innovative programming, is a vital and well-used amenity within the community.
Heritage Park is a year-round facility featuring various event spaces and surrounding green spaces. As the largest hosting event venue in the region, Heritage Park is suitable for events, trade shows, festivals, conferences, and weddings.
The community centre is a gathering place for residents. In additional to regular events, hosted by the Town and external groups, the facility is home to the Saturday morning Downtown Famers' Market.
A beautiful, 25-acre park designated for walking dogs off-leash, the Umbach Off-leash Dog Park is located just a dog's bark from the Stony Plain North Business Park. The well-maintained park features a pond, walking paths, park benches and a large, grassy dog-run area.
The TransAlta Tri Leisure Centre (TLC) is a full-service, multi-use community sport, recreation and wellness facility, owned and operated by the Town of Stony Plain, the City of Spruce Grove and Parkland County. The TLC boasts many amenities, including a large fitness centre; a 224 metre walking/running track; an aquatic centre; twin ice rinks; twin indoor sports fields; a gymnasium; and a children’s play centre. and offers a wide variety of fitness, health and wellness programs.
The Town is considering a proposed Municipal Cemetery.
