The Town has set a 75 per cent axle load road ban within Stony plain effective March 18th until approximately June 1.
Restricted truck-axle weight regulations will apply to the majority of the roadways throughout the community. All residential and collector roads are restricted within the Town boundaries, with the following exceptions:
Golf Course Road (from Highway 16A to south Town boundary)

Briarwood On December 5th our Public Works Department did three tests for fresh snow vs packed snow in Residential areas and found the following results:
 
Briarwood
14.1 cm of fresh snow
4.2 cm of packed snow
 
Westerra
14.2 cm of fresh snow
3.4 cm of packed snow
 
Brickyard
13 cm of fresh snow
4.4 cm of packed snow
 
Please remember that 15cm of packed snow is required for residential snow removal....

Snow RemovalResidential snow removal is done at 15cm of packed snow. At 10cm of packed snow, the Operations Manager will review and has the option of doing removals earlier.
Back lane pickup is done after completion of the residential rotation or as soon as equipment becomes available.
