To mark the event, City of Spruce Grove Mayor Stuart Houston, Town of Stony Plain Mayor William Choy and Parkland County Mayor Rodney Shaigec were on site for the inaugural flag raising at the detachment.
Hours of operation for front desk service is Monday to Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Members of the public will be invited to a grand opening event in October. More details on that event to come.

3 Trail Access Added to St John Paul II School
A crosswalk has been installed just east of the corner of Highway 779 and Willow Park Road (north entrance) to accommodate pedestrian access to St. John Paul II School. The crosswalk directs students to a temporary fenced trail to the school which will remain in place until the new service road is complete.  Please slow down and watch for children crossing the road.
