DTR MapMain Street from 53 Avenue to just south of the 51 Avenue intersection will be closed for construction from approximately June 3 to the end of the 2019 construction season.
During this time there will also be modified pedestrian access to the area.
Downtown Redevelopment construction will involve a number of closures of the sidewalks in stages along both sides of Main Street including alley crossings.

Alberta Transportation is still on track to start work up again on Hwy 779 on Tuesday, May 21 st . However, AT has informed the Town the scheduled has changed slightly from the previous update on May 13 th . AT will only be working on the storm line along the east side of Hwy 779 from Willow Park Road south to Hwy 628, and on the widening on the east side of  Hwy 779, south of Hwy 628. sculpture-01The Town of Stony Plain, along with Artist Paul Reimer, will be officially unveiling “Enduring Connections” on May 31, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. The unveiling ceremony will take place at Heritage Park and all are welcome!
