Umbach Storm Pond Construction Update - August 23

Head’s Up!

The road to the Umbach Off-leash Dog Park will be CLOSED for one day within the next week – WEATHER DEPENDENT – for repairs. A follow-up notice will be posted once an exact date is determined.

Please note that the Off-leash Dog Park will remain open and available. Parking is available along Boulder Boulevard with walking access to the park. We appreciate your patience!

57 Avenue Construction Update - July 19

Beginning July 19, 57 Avenue from West of Heritage Crescent to Highway 779 will be under construction as 1.1 km of Full Depth Reclamation (FDR), Asphalt Concrete Pavement overlay and line painting is completed. The project is due for completion by August 25.

Residents and those directly affected by the construction were informed via direct mail and invited to participate in an open house to remain involved.

Umbach Storm Pond Construction Update - June 20

Two sinkholes have emerged along the road to the Umbach Off-leash Dog Park, pictured above. The sinkholes are currently under repair. Please be cautious as you drive past and note they are barricaded for safety.

Disc Golf Course Construction Update - April 20

Phase One Progress Update:

Vegetation removal for the new disc golf course at Rotary Park is projected to be complete by the end of the week:

• Equipment work to be completed by April 21
• Handwork to be completed by the end of May

Phase Two:

The second phase of this project will include the installation of concrete tee pads, disc baskets, and signage throughout the course. Progress within Phase Two will be contingent on grant and sponsorships received, and donated labour time to complete. Tentative...
