TELUS PureFibre Update - December 1

TELUS's PureFibre construction program has completed for 2022. The PureFibre network will be available for customer orders in the areas constructed in January 2023. TELUS has informed the Town they will resume PureFibre construction in 2024.

TELUS PureFibre Update - November 22, 2022

All civil construction and backfill in The Glens and Fairways was completed as of October 30, 2022. TELUS crews will continue to be on location to perform splicing and testing. TELUS anticipates PureFibre will be released to customers in the area come January 2023.

Stony Plain Transit Temporary Route Change

UPDATE: NOVEMBER 7, 4 P.M.
Stony Plain Transit stop P0213 will return to regular operations Wednesday, November 9. The temporary bus stop will no longer be active. Thank you for your patience during construction.

TELUS PureFibre Update - November 2, 2022

TELUS has informed the Town civil construction on the PureFibre project is complete. Backfill work is complete and most visual signs of construction are gone with the exception of ongoing cable placement and splicing. Overall construction is expected to be completed this year, with customers loading in come January.

TELUS crews will be working on 48 Street near 55 Avenue beginning the morning of September 27. Be advised construction work will result in a single lane closure. Please look out for crews and follow trafffic controls in place.
