The Town of Stony Plain, in partnership with its sister town of Shikaoi, Japan, is in search of one individual to fill the position of Assistant Language Teacher (ALT). The successful applicant will have the chance to live and work in Japan for a year while helping teach English to Japanese children and adults.

Council Approves Funding for St. John Paul II Catholic School Service Road

During their meeting on January 28, Town of Stony Plain Council approved the use of $450,000 from deferred off site levies for the construction of a service road to the St. John Paul II Catholic School site.
“The wellbeing of pedestrians and drivers are some of Council’s key priorities,” says Mayor William Choy. “The construction of this service road is necessary to ensuring everyone gets to where they’re going safely and efficiently.”
