STONY PLAIN, AB: At the June 10, 2024, Regular Council Meeting, Council gave second and third reading to Bylaw 2693/DEB/24, approving $31,451,871 in debenture funding for the Community Recreation Facility project.

Recreation Facility Debenture – Bylaw 2693/DEB/24 Receives Second and Third Readings
Construction for the Community Recreation Facility is set to begin in 2024. The Recreation Facility includes dry sports amenities and a six-sheet curling facility, with an estimated budget of $41,651,871. In order to complete the project, a debenture borrowing of $31,451,871 is required. This project is part of the 2024-2026 Corporate Plan and the 2024-2027 Strategic Plan.
