Council approved phase one of the proposed Willow Park Natural Area project at tonight’s Regular Council meeting. It allows Administration to move forward with maintenance changes set to begin this fall.

Alberta Transportation has opened Highway 779 south of Willow Park Road.

AT has now closed the south entrance of Willow Park Road for approximately 5 days. Willow Park residents will not be able to exit or access Highway 779 at the south entrance and will need to detour via the north entrance of Willow Park Road or Willow Way. Parkland RCMP Detachment Opens Its Doors

The new Parkland RCMP detachment is officially open for business. To mark the event, City of Spruce Grove Mayor Stuart Houston, Town of Stony Plain Mayor William Choy and Parkland County Mayor Rodney Shaigec were on site for the inaugural flag raising at the detachment.
Hours of operation for front desk service is Monday to Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Members of the public will be invited to a grand opening event in October. More details on that event to come.
