First Reading Given to Amend the Brickyard at Old Town Area Structure Plan and Land Use Bylaw

First reading was given to update the Brickyard at Old Town Area Structure Plan and amend the Land Use Bylaw District Map during last night’s meeting. The proposed amendment would facilitate the extension of Brickyard Drive and the development of a 41-lot subdivision comprised of a combination of row housing and detached dwellings.

A public hearing will be held at the June 13, 2022 Council Meeting.

The Tri-Municipal Region is raising awareness of elder abuse this June in honour of World Elder Abuse Awareness Day. Residents are encouraged to join the Uproot Abuse campaign to increase awareness of elder abuse and work together to better support seniors in the region.
