Councillor Justin Laurie Appointed as Deputy Mayor
Councillor Justin Laurie has been appointed Deputy Chief Elected Official (Deputy Mayor). Councillors are appointed as Deputy Mayor for four-month terms to act as Mayor in the absence or incapacity of the Mayor. Councillor Laurie will serve until October 24, 2024, or until the appointment of the next Deputy Mayor.
