Roads Snow and Ice Update - December 9, 2024

With the thaw-freeze cycle, drainage issues are popping up around town. Crews are clearing ice from blocked catch basins to keep water flowing and addressing high spots and ruts on residential roads. Snow removal will be determined once surfaces are leveled.

Crews have finished removing snow from the school zones, on November 29th crews will continue to remove snow on the collector roads. Crews will begin at 5 am. Remember to provide operators the space they need to maneuver equipment and stay 15 meters back from sanding equipment.

November 28, 2024 crews have finished removing snow from Downtown, and will continue removing the snow from Collector Roads and School Zones. If you live on a collector road or school road, please remove your vehicles from the road. Crews will begin at 5 am. Remember to provide operators the space they need to maneuver equipment and stay 15 meters back from sanding equipment.

On November 27, 2024, crews will continue removing snow in the Downtown Core. They will also begin removing snow on collector roads and in school zones as time permits. Please provide operators the space they need to maneuver equipment by staying 15 meters back from plows and sanding equipment.

On Tuesday, November 26 crews will begin removing the snow in the Downtown Core. If you live on a plow route, please remove your vehicles from the road. Crews will begin at 5 am. Please provide operators the space they need to maneuver equipment and stay 15 meters back from sanding equipment.
