Snow Removal November 28, 2024

November 28, 2024 crews have finished removing snow from Downtown, and will continue removing the snow  from Collector Roads and School Zones. If you live on a collector  road or school road, please remove your vehicles from the road. Crews will begin at 5 am. Remember to provide operators the space they need to maneuver equipment and stay 15 meters back from sanding equipment.

On November 27, 2024, crews will continue removing snow in the Downtown Core. They will also begin removing snow on collector roads and in school zones as time permits. Please provide operators the space they need to maneuver equipment by staying 15 meters back from plows and sanding equipment.

Residential Snow Removal - March 13

Snow Removal Continues Strong!

All Residential Roads have been cleared!  Crews have now turned their attention to the back alleys and lanes.

With the warm weather we are getting reports a frozen storm drains causing flooding on roads and sidewalks. If you see an area that is not draining, call Public Works at 780-963-2469, we have a crew and equipment ready to respond.

Residential Snow Removal - March 11

There is no Stopping Residential Snow Removal!

Visit the Road Maintenance Page for a listing of when we will be in your neighborhoord and watch for signs on the roads. 

Crews start plowing at 6 am and have been out well into the evening clearing the windrows.

Did you know a driveway ramp can take a snow blower out of operations for the majority of the day and delay clearing efforts.  Please removed driveway ramps and cars from the road the night before clearing is scheduled.
