Front Curb Collection will be in effect for the following areas from March 29 until approximately June 3:
- West of 48 Street & South of the CN Tracks
- St Andrews
- Meridian Heights
If your home is located in one of the noted areas, please place your items (waste, organics, recycling) out at the front curb on your scheduled collection day beginning the week of March 29.

Grab your picker sticks and garbage bags – PITCH-IN Week is returning to Stony Plain! From April 17 to April 23, residents can volunteer their time to making their community more environmentally friendly by cleaning up, restoring, and preserving local greenspace.

Meridian Housing Foundation Presents Proposal for Affordable Seniors Housing
Council was joined by the Meridian Housing Foundation for a presentation on the Spruce Grove Lodge proposal. The seniors lodge would provide housing for functionally independent seniors living on low to moderate incomes. The 102-unit lodge in Spruce Grove would be supported by the Town of Stony Plain, City of Spruce Grove, and Parkland County. The estimated contribution from Stony Plain is $1,297,700.
