Westerra Lane Intersection Temporary Closure

On Monday, August 30 starting at 7:00 a.m. the intersection at Westerra Lane and Westerra Loop will be closed for utility construction. The closure will continue until 12:00 p.m. on Tuesday, August 31.  Access will be maintained via Westerra Loop and Westerra Drive. 

Golf Course Road Construction Update – August 26

Paving on Golf Course Road is almost complete. Crews are expected to finish the road this weekend. All construction is weather dependent. 

Highway 779 Update - August 26

Alberta Transportation has informed the Town that night paving will take place on 48 Street between 55 and 49 Avenue on Friday, August 27, Saturday, August 28 and Sunday, August 29 (if necessary).

Hours of operation will be between 6:00 p.m. and 6:00 a.m. Temporary lane closures and detours will be in place, expect delays. Crews will be working during the daytime hours through out the coming week on topsoil and sod placement, seeding and installation of permanent signs between 57 and 47 Avenue. Temporary...

Highway 779 and 49 Avenue Intersection Closure Update - August 24

Alberta Transportation has provided the following important update to the Town on the Highway 779 construction project. The 49 Avenue intersection closure will need to be extended until the end of Wednesday, August 24 to fully complete work in the area. The intersection will be reopened to traffic at 6:00 p.m. in order to accomodate the construction. Detours will remain in effect for the additional time frame. We appreciate your patience during this construction project.
