Underground work continues on Main Street for the Downtown Redevelopment project. Construction of the roundabout coming to downtown is expected to begin in the next couple of weeks.
Highway 779 Construction Update August 25

Alberta Transportation (AT) has informed the Town Highway 779 construction has been delayed due to heavy rainfall last week. Paving operations have been pushed back to Thursday (August 27) and Friday (August 28). As a result, the reopening of the 53 Avenue intersection has also been pushed back to end of day Thursday.
Town Office Prepares for Reopening

Stony Plain Town Office is getting ready to reopen its doors. Beginning August 31, Town Office will be open and resume normal business hours to the public with physical distancing guidelines in place.
