Temporary Road Closures for Night Paving and Crosswalk Pouring

Main Street, from 54 Avenue to 53 Avenue, will be closed for night paving on Monday, August 19. The closure will begin at 7:00 p.m. and continue until the final lift is complete. The road will reopen on Tuesday morning.
Beginning August 22, there will be temporary road closures surrounding the construction area for the pouring and curing of concrete crosswalks. During each pour, the road will be blocked off to ensure the concrete has sufficient time to dry. Detours will be in effect for approximately...
JPII Access Road Update - August 16

The temporary path from the Willow Park Subdivision to St. John Paul II School is permanently closed for construction of the new access road. Upon completion, new sidewalks will be available for family and student use. During construction, access to the school is available via the Willow Park Natural Area and the Town of Stony Plain trail system. The trail system provides safe entry to the schoolyard away from the construction zone.

This fall, Stony Plain Family and Community Support Services (Stony Plain FCSS), in partnership with the Canadian Mental Health Association Edmonton (CMHA Edmonton), is bringing two Recovery College courses to our community.
