The votes are in! Stony Plain residents lined up at voting stations today and earlier this month to cast their vote for the next Town Council. William Choy, who ran against Sheldon Gron, was successful in his pursuit for re-election as Mayor. Six Council members were voted in, three of which are returning from the previous Council.

Get into the Halloween spirit with upcoming local festivities! This year, the Mini Monster Bash has been modified to include an extra spooky scavenger hunt, take-home activity kits, and a haunted house.
Returning this year is the Halloween Haunted House Hunt. Stony Plain and Spruce Grove residents can follow daily clues to find one of ten miniature haunted houses hidden throughout the communities. The scavenger hunt will kick off on October 19 and continue up until the Halloween...

With the trail completed, the concrete slab for the public art piece has been poured and stamped allowing for its installation on Monday, October 18. Once final landscaping has been completed, the new Community Bulletin Board will also be installed to finish the project.

All streetlights have been installed and are scheduled to be connected. Crews are working on benches, bike racks and waste receptacles. Bases are poured for the north entrace pillars and sandblasting continues. Please follow all signage and be mindful of crews in the area.
