During the holiday season, the Town accepts donations of new toys as payment for Stony Plain Bylaw tickets. These toys are donated to the Stony Plain Kinsmen Christmas Hampers to be distributed to families in need. While the program provides an alternative to paying a bylaw fine, residents do not need a ticket to make a donation.

Only parking tickets issued on Stony Plain Bylaw Tags between November 12 to 29, 2024 are eligible. 

Program criteria:
  • Toys must be new and in original packaging
  • Toys must be suitable for children 16 years of age or younger
  • Toy value must be equal to or greater than $25 (must include purchase receipt)
  • New gift cards valued at $25 or more will also be accepted
  • A receipt must be included with each toy or gift card donation
  • Only municipal parking tickets with a Stony Plain Bylaw Tag are eligible for the Toys for Tickets program
  • Fines issued for Emergency Access, Handicap, Commercial Vehicle, and Dangerous Goods parking violations are not eligible

Donations will be accepted at Town Office during regular business hours until 4:30 PM on December 13, 2024.
