DECEMBER 15 UPDATE: A full closure along 49th Avenue between the Sonora apartment complex and Burger King, and along Brown Street north of 50th Avenue beings today at 9:30 a.m. Drivers are advised to avoid the area if possible and follow traffic controls in place.

 

Expect traffic delays along 49th Avenue between Golf Course Road and Highway 779 Thurday morning. Motorists are being asked to use an alternate route if possible and or follow the posted signage. Fortis Alberta will be working on a power pole following a vehicle colliding with it Wednesday. Work is expected to start between 9am and 10am and last about 3 hours.
