Come Celebrate Canada Day Here in Stony Plain!
STONY PLAIN, AB: Join in the Canada Day festivities! Stony Plain invites you to a day of free family-friendly fun under the sun.
The event will take place at the Stony Plain & Parkland Pioneer Museum grounds on July 1, from 10AM – 3PM. Activities include a foam party, cultural performances, ninja warrior obstacle course, face painters, and much more!
“I urge everyone to come out and join us in celebrating of this beautiful country we call home” says Mayor William Choy. “Events, such as this year’s Canada Day celebration, work to bring residents together and help foster a strong community here in Stony Plain.”
“This year's festivities offer an abundance of family-friendly entertainment. With everything from cultural performances to a foam party, remember to bring your towel – there's something for everyone to enjoy,” says Event Coordinator Tevra Graham. "Alongside crafts, the event will also include pony rides, a henna artist, and a traditional Chinese dragon dance. It's sure to be thrilling!"
Parking will be available at Heritage Park and the Canada Day car show will be located on Main Street until 4 PM.
