User Fees & Charges Bylaw 2682/G/23

The User Fees & Charges Bylaw 2682/G/23 is prepared annually in conjunction with the Corporate Plan. The bylaw sets out the fees and charges for Town provided services.

During Monday night’s meeting, Council requested more information be provided regarding the bylaw to come back to Council at the December 11 Regular Meeting.

Corporate Plan 2024-2026

As per the Municipal Government Act (MGA) Council must approve a budget to authorize Administration to transact effective January 1st of the subsequent year.

The 2024-2026 Corporate Plan process was conducted from April to October. Council deliberated the Corporate Plan on November 6, 7, 8, 2023.

At Monday’s meeting, Council made motions to amend the Corporate Plan to an 8.66% tax increase. Council approved the 2024-2026 Corporate Plan as amended.
