Farmers’ Days is back! The Town of Stony Plain and the Stony Plain Kinsmen Club are excited to host the 2022 Farmers’ Days Rodeo and Exhibition from June 3 through to June 5 at the Heritage Park grounds.

This year’s event will see the return of fan favourites including the rodeo, midway rides, Rotary Parade, Mayor and Council’s Pancake Breakfast, Kids Korral, marketplace with over 100 vendors, and beer gardens with live entertainment.

“Farmers’ Days is the highlight of the year for many of our residents. It really brings the community together and draws in visitors from across the region,” says Event Coordinator Tevra Graham. “We are excited to be able to bring families and residents back together for a weekend of fun filled with all their traditional Farmers’ Days favourites!”

“It’s not summer in Stony Plain without Farmers’ Days! It is wonderful to be able to spend the weekend together as a community, and I encourage everyone to come out and experience one of the biggest Stony Plain traditions. I hope everyone is ready for pancakes!” says Mayor William Choy.

The weekend of festivities will begin on Friday, June 3 with midway rides opening at 3PM. An all-day ride wristband will be available for purchase on-site for $40. The Mayor and Council’s Pancake Breakfast will be hosted at the Stony Plain and Parkland Pioneer Museum on Saturday, June 4 from 7AM to 9:30AM. Tickets for adults cost $2 with free entry for children under the age of five. Following the breakfast, guests can ride the free shuttle downtown to catch the Rotary Parade beginning at 10AM. The rodeo grounds will open on Saturday with the first performance scheduled for 2PM. Tickets can be purchased at the arena gates.

Parking will not be available on-site during Farmers’ Days; however, free Park N’ Ride services will be provided at various locations throughout the community. The shuttle services will be running throughout the weekend.
