Stony Plain BMX Racers Recognized for Achievements at National Championships

Stony Plain BMX athletes participated in the Canadian BMX National Championships held in Calgary, where more than 600 racers competed. Eight Stony racers achieved top-ten rankings at the National Championships!

RCMP Municipal Crime Statistics Report Presented by Inspector Kevin McGillivary and Accepted by Council

Council accepted the RCMP Municipal Crime Statistics Report as presented by Inspector Kevin McGillivary. The purpose of the report presentation was to update Council on notable changes in statistics specific to Stony Plain, share detachment operational updates, and any upcoming programs and initiatives.

Planning and Development Guidelines Presented

Council has accepted the information in the Planning and Development Guidelines as presented by Administration. The Planning and Development Guidelines include a Five-Level Planning Framework, Public Process, and Trends and Opportunities. The goal of these Guidelines is to serve as a useful reference tool for the land development industry and offer an accessible resource for the public to enhance their understanding of planning and development processes.
