MONDAY, June 28, 2021, at 5:00 p.m.

at the Town of Stony Plain Council Chambers at 4905-51 Avenue

[IMPORTANT โ€“ This meeting may be held virtually due to restrictions related to COVID-19.]

Town of Stony Plain Council will hold a public hearing for the purpose of hearing submissions regarding adopting an updated Off-Site Levy Bylaw.

Purpose of Off-Site Levy Bylaw 2648/D&P/21

To adopt an updated Off-Site Levy Bylaw.

Off-site levies are a charge collected to build new infrastructure outside or โ€œoffโ€ a development site that is required to serve new developments and support growth. The Municipal Government Act gives authority for municipalities to collect this charge and identify the parameters when off-site levies apply to a subdivision or development.

The Town updated its Off-Site Levy Bylaw to introduce a revised model for calculating off-site levy charges that accounts for current community growth projections.
