Council Amends Land Use Bylaw for Developing Former RCMP Building Site

The public hearing for amending the Land Use Bylaw District Map to facilitate future development of the former RCMP building was held during last night’s meeting. First reading for the bylaw amendment was presented to Council at the May 24, 2022 Meeting and a virtual open house was hosted by the applicant on April 12.

Following discussion at the public hearing, Council moved to give second and third reading to the bylaw. An updated Land Use Bylaw will be posted to the Stony Plain website.
