Meridian Housing Foundation Letter of Support

The Meridian Housing Foundation provided Council with a presentation in regard to a development in Spruce Grove that would provide independent, supportive and affordable housing for seniors. Following that presentation Council made a motion to accept the Meridian Housing Foundation information as presented, and to provide a letter of support for the Spruce Grove Lodge Development project to the Province. Three Readings Given to Fees and Charges Bylaw

First, second, and third readings have been given to the Fees and Charges bylaw which outlines rates for 2022. The new bylaw will be made available on the Town website. Utility rates will be communicated to residents and utility customers with the next monthly bills.

Third Quarterly Report of the Year Presentation

The Third Quarter Report for 2021 has been accepted for information by Council. Throughout the year, Administration presents quarterly reports to monitor progress and highlight important milestones. The report provides insight into ongoing work and projects across Town departments.

Council Approves Final Corporate Plan 2022-2024

The Corporate Plan 2022-2024 received Council’s stamp of approval at last night’s meeting. The Corporate Plan provides a roadmap for the next three years of development in Stony Plain, and outlines the steps needed to achieve the outcomes indicated in the Strategic Plan.
