Trans Alta Tri Leisure Centre 2025 Budget Presented to Council & Accepted for Information
At last night’s meeting, General Manager Leny Richer, and Board Chair Robb Hagg presented the proposed 2025 Trans Alta Tri Leisure Centre budget to Council. The 2025 budget request was accepted for information by Council and will be considered during the 2025-2027 Corporate Planning.

Stony Plain Public Library 2025 Funding Presented to Council & Accepted for Information
At last night’s meeting, Chair Brenda Spitzer, Treasurer Dawn Horne, and Director Lania Kelly presented the library’s 2025 funding request to Council. The 2025 funding request was accepted for information by Council and will be considered during the 2025-2027 Corporate Planning.

Bylaw 2696/D&P/24 – The Brickyard at Old Town Area Structure Plan – Receives First Reading
At last night’s meeting, Administration brought a proposed update to The Brickyard at Old Town Area Structure Plan (ASP) to facilitate future development of the Brickyard neighbourhood and Old Town South. The proposal accommodates stormwater management requirements and reallocates residential and open space areas.
Council passed first reading for Bylaw 2696/D&P/24 – The Brickyard at Old Town Area Structure Plan.

Bylaw 2697/LUO/24 – Brickyard Stage 6 – Land Use Bylaw Amendment – Receives First Reading
At last night’s meeting, Administration brought a proposed amendment to the Land Use Bylaw to facilitate the development of Brickyard Stage 6. The proposal facilitates continued development of the Brickyard neighbourhood through low and medium density residential areas, park and open space, and utility areas to accommodate stormwater management facilities for the neighbourhood.
Council passed first reading of Bylaw 2697/LUO/24 – Brickyard Stage 6 to amend Land Use Bylaw 2686/LUO/24.

Bylaw 2698/LUO/24 – 700 Genesis Drive – Land Use Bylaw Amendment – Receives First Reading
At last night’s meeting, Administration brought a proposed amendment to the Land Use Bylaw to facilitate the development of 700 Genesis Drive within the Genesis on the Lakes neighbourhood. The proposal aligns with the Municipal Development Plan, as well as the intent of the Genesis on the Lakes Area Structure Plan.
Council passed first reading of Bylaw 2698/LUO/24 – 700 Genesis Drive to amend Land Use Bylaw 2686/LUO/24.
