Stony Plain Fire Department Responds to Vehicle Fire

At 6:11PM last night, the Stony Plain Fire Department responded to a vehicle fire at Parkland Farm Equipment. Upon arrival, crews found a vacant, fully engulfed school bus in the yard of the equipment dealership. The fire was contained without damage to surrounding property.

“Currently the fire is under investigation, but it is not suspicious in nature. The bus was parked in the lot and listed as out of service,” Dennis Wichuk, Deputy Fire Chief says. “Our team was able to contain the fire before it could spread to a nearby storage building. Thankfully there are no injuries to report.”
