Stony Plain’s Dog Agility Course Opens to the Public

After a brief pause in construction due to weather, the Stony Plain Dog Agility Course in Umbach Off-Leash Dog Park is now officially open to the public. You and your furry friend can make your way over to the new course to start putting your skills to the test!

“I’m excited this project is now complete,” says Councillor Judy Bennett. “The structure is designed similar to a world agility course, and yet it can be used by beginner dogs, as well as to help trainers further develop their handling skills.”

Mayor Choy adds, “This is an excellent addition to our community. Make sure to visit the new course this weekend and bring lots of treats for your fluffy companions.”
