The Town of Stony Plain is celebrating its long serving staff members with the annual Long Service Awards. The awards recognize Town staff who have served the community for five, 10, 15, and 20 years. Due to COVID-19, the Long Service Awards and Recognition Banquet has been postponed until next year.

“We are incredibly proud of our staff. We have an amazing team here at the Town and our employees work hard every day to service our growing community,” says Town Manager Tom Goulden. “We wouldn’t be the community we are today without the dedication and commitment of our team.”

This year, 20 Town employees have been recognized for the Long Service Award including 14 recipients for the five-year award, two for the 10-year award, three for the 15-year award, and one for the 20-year award.
