Arbour Day is an annual event celebrating the importance of trees and green spaces to promote greener communities for the future. 

Arbour Day 2022

Arbour Day is returning for another community celebration! The event is scheduled for Saturday, September 17, 2022 from 12PM - 1PM at Campbell Park, featuring a community tree planting, music and games, and free food and drinks.

Southridge Green space (2021)
Arbour Day 2021 reintroduced an in-person community celebration following the virtual event in 2020. Check out the summary video to see one of Stony Plain's many "pocket parks" showcase its new trees! 
Willow Park (2020)
In response to COVID-19, Arbour Day 2020 was held virtually in the form of Story Map to present the history of Arbour Day in Stony Plain and showcase the results of this year's planting.
