Stony Plain is proud of its history and heritage. We are known for our murals and bridges located throughout town.

We have two museums in our community:

The Multicultural Heritage Centre houses Stony Plain's archives and hosts our horse and wagon mural tours. The Pioneer Museum is a living history museum featuring and outdoor village and indoor displays.

Stony Plain is also home to the Crooked Pot Gallery & Parkland Potters' Guild. The guild has been part of our community for over 40 years.

The Stony Plain Public Library is the oldest cultural institution in Stony Plain. It has been a part of the history of Stony Plain since 1945.
