Moose Hide Campaign Day
The Moose Hide Campaign is a grassroots movement of Indigenous and non-Indigenous men and boys who are standing up against violence towards women and children. Wearing this moose hide signifies your commitment to honour, respect, and protect the women and children in your life and to work together to end violence against women and children and take action towards reconciliation with Indigenous peoples.
One of the most important things that you can do to help end violence against women and children is to promote gender equity, healthy relationships, and positive ideas of masculinity by speaking out against gender-based violence.
Every year, our community comes together to hand out pins, honour this day, and learn how we can ensure all residents are safe and protected. Check out the community calendar for information on this year's event.
