Under the FOIP Act, any person can:

  • Request information that is in the custody and control of the Town of Stony Plain
  • Access personal information about themselves held by the Town of Stony Plain
  • Request correction of their personal information

Make a request

You must complete a FOIP Request Form, and you can:

  • Return it to us by mail
  • Email us
  • Fax it to us at 780-963-2197
  • There is a $25 fee for general information. You can also pick up a form at Town Hall during regular business hours.

Our response

We will respond to you within 30 calendar days of receiving your request. Our response will either:

  • Provide the information
  • Say why the information is not shared
  • In the case of a request for correction of personal information, the response will state that the correction is completed, or advise that a note is on file.
