Winter Fest
Winter Fest is a month long of activities for the whole family to enjoy. Kick off the festive season with Light up on November 30th, 2025.
On December 01, join the fun as you can share your most secret or favorite recipes of the season, to help count us down to the last day of the year!
On December 31, 2025 ring in the New Year at Family Fest.
Winter Fest is a special time of year that brings residents and business's together, to celebrate our community today, while looking forward to the New Year.

Winter Light Up
Join us on Sunday, November 30th from 6 PM to 8 PM on Main Street for the annual lighting of our Town tree, take a photo with Santa and participate in our business holiday treasure hunt, all while listening to festive tunes from our live DJ. The holiday magic isn't over yet!

24 Days of Recipe's
Beginning December 1, if anyone would like to share their favorite or secret season's recipe please email events@stonyplain.com I will post everyday the recipes that have been received for all the towns folk. This will be so fun to share, not only for those that don't know what to make, but sharing new challenges for the chef's to master.

Family Fest
Family Fest is the community's annual New Year's Eve celebration. Activities take place at Heritage Park (5100 - 41 Avenue) from 6 PM to 9 PM on December 31.
Celebrate the end of 2025 with the Town of Stony Plain! Held at Heritage Park, guests can enjoy their favourite winter activities with the ones they love. Best of all, a beautiful fireworks display to cap off the celebrations!
