Visitors can watch works in progress take shape through woodblock printmaking, view finished artworks, and try a simple hands-on relief print rubbing activity. The Stony Plain Public Library is proud to host Elder Phillip Campiou’s Tipi Teachings, which will include spiritual and cultural lessons focused on the tipi, as well as other land-based experiential Indigenous wisdom. Attendees will participate in the structure and set up of the tipi while learning about the guiding principles associated with each tipi pole. 

Elder Phillip will build connections with our participants around the campfire while making bannock and sharing stories.

Parkland Potters’ Guild invites the public, past members, and dignitaries to share in their 50^th anniversary celebration. There will be an unveiling of a new mural on the west wide of the building to celebrate this event! Additionally there will be pottery demonstrations and studio tours, and each guest will receive a unique pottery wine cup as a thank you for their ongoing support.
