Alberta Transportation has provided the following update to construction on Provincial Highway 779. The outside southbound lane is closed from 52 Ave to 55 Ave at which point traffic is moved to the outside lane and the inside southbound lane is closed from south of 55 Ave to Willow Park Road North.

Major construction work continues on 49 Avenue. Traffic will be reduced to one way only (alternating) and construction will continue until June 4.

Alberta Transportation (AT) has informed the Town construction operations will resume on 48 Street (Hwy 779) on Monday, May 3. Lane closures will be put in place on the outside lanes of 48 Street between 49 Ave and Willow Park Road North starting Monday morning.

Alberta Transportation (AT) has informed the Town crews will be out line painting on 48 Street (Highway 779) today. Crews have recently completed a barricade and delineator change to put all traffic on the outside lane in each direction to accommodate painting operations.
