Halloween Haunted House Scavenger Hunt
All the houses have been found. Thanks for joining the Halloween fun this year!
Join the hunt and search for one of five haunted houses to win an extra spooky prize! Five miniature haunted houses will be hidden throughout public spaces in Stony Plain beginning October 22, 2022. Daily clues will be posted on this page each morning at 9AM until all houses are found.
Rules
- One clue will be posted daily until the house is found.
- There will be a total of three clues for each house.
- The contest begins October 22 and finishes when all five haunted houses are found and returned to Stony Plain Town Office (4905 51 Avenue).
- Each Haunted House is hidden in a public location within Stony Plain. It is not necessary to enter or cross any private property to get to any location.
- There is no cost or fee to participate - everyone is welcome!
- Minors must be accompanied by a parent or guardian over the age of 18 when picking up prizes.
- You may only win once.

*Tip: the haunted houses are roughly two feet tall (children's toy doll house size).

Parkland Search & Rescue Haunted House
Bring the family down to Heritage Park for the Parkland Search & Rescue haunted house! The display is suitable for all ages and entry is free (no registration required). Guests are asked to bring a donation for the Parkland Food Bank.
- October 29 & 30 from 10AM - 3PM

Pumpkin Carving Contest
New to this year's Halloween celebration: introducing the Stony Plain Pumpkin Carving Contest! Put your carving skills to the test for a chance to win a great prize. Prizes will be given to the top three pumpkins. One entry is permitted per person and the contest is open to Stony Plain residents.
Pumpkins can be brought to Town Office during regular business hours (Monday - Friday, 8:30AM - 4:30PM). Submissions must be received by October 27, 2022 at 4:30PM.
Trick-or-Treat at Shikaoi Park
Bring your pillowcases and candy carriers to Shikaoi Park (4905 51 Avenue) on Halloween night for a special treat! A trick-or-treat station and spooky display featuring pumpkin carving contest entries will be open on October 31 from 6 - 9PM. The display is family-friendly and makes for a perfect stop on your Halloween trick-or-treating route!
