43 Avenue Closure at South Park Drive Intersection

STONY PLAIN, AB: Beginning on July 17, the intersection of South Park Drive and 43 Avenue will be under construction to establish a median on 43 Avenue. 

From July 17-22 and July 25, traffic impacts include:

• 43 Avenue closure during the day for through traffic from 33 Street to South Park Drive. No access to South Park Drive from 43 Avenue.
• No impact to traffic on South Park Drive. Local businesses will remain accessible during construction. 

Upon completion of the project, traffic patterns at the intersection will change permanently, and left turns from 43 Avenue onto South Park Drive will no longer be permitted. Construction is expected to be completed on July 25.
