43 Avenue Closure at South Park Drive Intersection

Due to weather conditions, the planned construction at the intersection of South Park Drive and 43 Avenue did not proceed according to the previously communicated schedule of July 17 to 22 and July 25. The work, which will establish a median on 43 Avenue, is now planned to begin on August 4 and is expected to be completed by August 11.    

During construction, traffic impacts include:

• 43 Avenue closure during the day for through traffic from 33 Street to South Park Drive. No access to South Park Drive from 43 Avenue.
• No impact to traffic on South Park Drive. Local businesses will remain accessible during construction. 

Upon completion of the project, traffic patterns at the intersection will change permanently, and left turns from 43 Avenue onto South Park Drive will no longer be permitted.
