48 Street Water Main Break Notice - September 7, 2022

SEPTEMBER 16: Construction is scheduled for September 19 - 23. Crews will begin prepping the road and hauling in materials on Monday, September 19 with work continuing throughout the week. Paving is anticipated to begin on Friday, September 23.

 SEPTEMBER 9, 2:20PM: Construction work in the area continues with both north and south bound lanes impacted. Southbound traffic on 48 Street (Highway 779) is reduced to one lane south of the Highway 16A overpass with northbound traffic reduced to one lane before the 44 Avenue intersection. Construction is expected to continue throughout the day and into the weekend. Please use caution and obey all signage for traffic diversions.

 SEPTEMBER 9, 9AM: Work is ongoing and both north and south bound lanes are impacted with each down to one lane. Construction is expected to continue throughout the day and into the weekend.

 SEPTEMBER 7, 4:30PM: Crews will be on location the morning of September 8. Both northbound lanes of Highway 779 will be closed while work is completed. Detours will be in affect beginning at approximately 9AM.

 Crews are handling a water main break on 48 Street north of 44 Avenue. Be advised traffic in the area may be impacted. Be on the lookout for workers and equipment on site and slow down when passing construction crews.
