Alberta Day September 1

WHEREAS; Alberta became a province on September 1st, 1905; and,

WHEREAS; in recognition of this anniversary and in celebration of Alberta’s unique spirt, culture and heritage, the Government of Alberta has designated September 1st as Alberta Day; and,

WHEREAS; Alberta Day is a celebration of everything Alberta, from the past to the present. Join in on events September 3-5, 2022, or take time to celebrate your own way!

THEREFORE, I, Mayor William Choy, of the Town of Stony Plain, do hereby proclaim September 1st as Alberta Day.
