On behalf of Stony Plain Town Council and our residents, congratulations on your recent Women’s Monobob Bobsleigh bronze medal win at the 2022 Beijing Olympics. This is a thrilling and exciting accomplishment for you.

What an honour it is to stand atop the podium in the first ever monobob competition at the Olympic level. To emerge as a champion amongst many deserving and competitive peers is a testament to your hard work and determination. You are a true inspiration to the young women of Stony Plain. To watch one of their own be successful on the international stage will fuel the spark for our young athletes in the Stony Plain and Parkland region and to all Canadian athletes for years to come.
