Kinsmen Club of Stony Plain 2023 Updates Presented to Council

Annually the Kinsmen present the successes of the last year to Council, particularly the Kinsmen Christmas Hampers. The Kinsmen Club of Stony Plain serve the community with the motto of “Serving the Community’s Greatest Need.” Last night’s presentation highlighted the successes of the past year and the impact of working together with the Town of Stony Plain to provide Christmas Hampers to those in the community who need a helping hand.

Boards and Committees Governance Framework Overview Presented to Council

Administration presented the Boards and Committees Governance Framework Overview report to Council. The report is the result of a thorough review of the Town’s Council Committees, and recommends a framework which requires the creation of a general governance bylaw. This bylaw will outline the types of committees Council may form and provides a consistent manner for the establishment of committees.
