Parkland Turning Points Society Presentation to Council
Parkland Turning Points Society is a not-for-profit charitable organization that has served Stony Plain, Parkland County, Spruce Grove, and surrounding areas since 1994. The organization provides education and therapeutic support to help individuals and families break the cycle of violence and abuse. At last night’s Council meeting, Shelly Brownlee, President of Parkland Turning Points Society presented 2024 highlights and programming plans for 2025.

Neighbourlink Parkland Council Presentation
Last night, Alexander Clowes, Neighbourlink Interim Executive Director presented 2024 highlights and plans for 2025 to Council. NeighbourLink Parkland is a non-profit charity that has served Stony Plain, Spruce Grove, and Parkland County since 2000. The organization provides support, resources, and advocacy for vulnerable individuals through partnerships with community agencies and referral sources.

Stony Plain Lions Club Presentation to Council
The Stony Plain Lions Club has been an active part of the community since 1957, supporting local initiatives through fundraising, service projects, and events. The Lions Club provided an update on their 2024 activities and community contributions. Highlights included a $160,000 donation to the Town of Stony Plain to fund the replacement of an ATS bus, which was put into service earlier this year.
