High Speed Fibre Optic Internet Installation Update – Aug 7

Overnight construction will begin at approximately 6 PM today, August 7, on 48 Street (Highway 779) as part of the High Speed Fibre Optic Internet Installation. To accommodate the work, there will be multiple short, single-lane closures along 48 Street at the following intersections:

• 48 Street and 56 Avenue
• 48 Street and 55 Avenue
• 48 Street and 54 Avenue
• 48 Street and 52 Avenue

Crews will be working overnight only to minimize traffic disruptions. Construction may extend into a second night if needed.
