Highway 779 Update - June 22

Alberta Transportation has informed the Town that beginning at 7:00 a.m. on Wednesday June 23, Wells Construction will be milling and paving the final lift of asphalt on 48 Street between south of Willow Park Road North and 55 Avenue. As a result, traffic will be reduced to one lane in each direction with both directions of travel on the northbound lanes from south of Willow Park Road North to north of 55 Avenue. Once paving of the southbound lanes is complete traffic will be moved to the southbound lanes while the northbound lanes are paved. It is anticipated that the milling and paving operations south of 55 Avenue will be completed by Saturday, June 26.
