Highway 779 Update - September 1

Alberta Transportation has informed the town that on Tuesday September 7, 48 Street will be closed to both north and southbound traffic from the north side of 49 to 47 Avenue between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. The closure is required to accommodate final paving around the railway tracks within the CN controlled right-of-way. During the closure signed detours will be in place. The 49 Avenue/48 Street intersection will remain open to east and westbound traffic and all traffic south of 49 Avenue.
