Meridian Cove Water Service Disruption

SEPTEMBER 16 UPDATE: Construction work will continue during the week of September 19 - 23. To accommodate repairs, water in the Meridian Cove condominium buildings will be switched to a temporary water supply beginning September 19. This switch will not result in any water service disruption and tap water will continue to be safe to use and drink.

 SEPTEMBER 14 UPDATE: Water services have been restored in the Meridian Cove condominiums. Two rounds of testing have been completed with both tests reporting an absence of contaminants in the water. The boil water advisory is now lifted and water on site is safe to drink. Thank you for your patience throughout the construction process. 

 SEPTEMBER 12 UPDATE: Construction work to address the water main break on 48 Street will continue this week. Water service has been restored at Meridian Cove and a boil water advisory is in effect for the condominiums until further notice. No additional water service disruptions in the area are expected at this time.

Boil Water Advisory Safety Guidelines 

 A water main break was identified on Wednesday, September 7, 2022 on 48 Street north of 44 Avenue and construction work has been ongoing. To address the issue, water in the Meridian Cove condominium buildings will be shut off on Saturday, September 10 beginning at 7:00AM and water service is expected to resume by 11:00PM.

Residences directly impacted by the water shut off will be contacted by Town representatives with further instruction. Households in the vicinity may experience decreased water pressure during the shut off period. All residents in the area are asked to reduce water usage while work is completed.
