Northwest Territories and British Columbia Wildfires

STONY PLAIN, AB: The Town of Stony Plain has been following the developments of the devastating wildfires in the Northwest Territories and British Columbia.

Currently, the Town has not been asked to prepare or host evacuees at this time. Evacuees have been directed to several reception centers throughout the province. You can find information about reception centers, supports and services, advisories and closures, preparedness, and situation updates on the Government of Alberta website.

If Stony Plain is called upon to provide support, information will be made available via the newsroom and or alert banner sections of the Town website and all social media channels.
