Land Use Amendment Bylaw 2731/LUO/25 Received Second and Third Reading

At last night’s meeting, Council gave second and third readings and subsequently passed the Land Use Amendment Bylaw 2731/LUO/25. The bylaw amendment allows for additional zero lot line housing in Westerra Stage 20. The amendment supports more efficient land use, increases housing density, and provides a greater range of housing options in the community, in alignment with the Town’s Municipal Development Plan and the Lake Westerra Estates Area Structure Plan.

Community Standards Bylaw 2733/PS/26 Received Second and Third Reading

Council gave second and third readings, and subsequently passed Community Standards Bylaw 2733/PS/26, which updates and replaces the existing bylaw 2591/PS/18. The Community Standards Bylaw regulates public behavior, nuisances, unsightly premises, and property conditions within the Town of Stony Plain.

Strategic & Corporate Plan Q4 2025 Report

Administration presented the Q4 2025 Strategic & Corporate Plan Report to Council, outlining progress on key initiatives and measurable results from the Town’s guiding documents.
Approved in February 2025, the Strategic Plan defines the priorities and outcomes that guide the Town toward its long-term vision. The Corporate Plan ensures resources and operations are aligned to achieve these strategic goals.

Administration will provide quarterly updates to Council with the next update for Q1 2026 in April.
